In God We Trust

In God We Trust

Michael Newdow is at it again! Now he wants to have the words, "In God we trust" removed from U.S. coins and currency! Come on, give me a break!

You may recall that Mr. Newdow was in court not too long ago over The Pledge of Allegiance to have the words "under God" removed. The case was dismissed by the U.S. Supreme Court. Now he wants to sue about our money. OK, we get it Michael, you are an atheist and don't believe in God - GET A LIFE!

The motto In God We Trust has been on U.S. coins since the days of the Civil War, and it first appeared on paper money in 1957. This country was founded by a nation of religious people and built upon their beliefs.

Michael Newdow has also started his own church, The First Amendment Church of True Science.

I think Mr. Newdow should find something else to devote his time to. Going up against God is not such a good choice, just read The Old Testament of the Bible for some examples of what kind of an opponent God is!

Your comments are welcome.

The Holy Spirit came through with a great message on this issue of "in God we trust" in The Christian Prophet blog yesterday.

Has Mr. Newdow decided who his religion will worship yet? Is it him?
