Are You Addicted to the Internet?



If you are not quite sure if you are an "Internet Addict", check the list below and see how many of these things apply to you.

• You wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and stop to check your e-mail before going back to bed
• You spouse makes a new rule: The laptop can not come to bed with us
• It takes you 15 minutes to scroll to the bottom of your bookmarks in your browser
• All of your friends have @ in their names
• You suddenly realize the house is very quiet, and you have no idea where your children are
• You check your e-mail and it says "no messages", so you check it again just to make sure
• You find yourself surfing the net when you are supposed to be working
• You go to bed later and later because you are busy online
• The first thing you do when you come home is turn on your computer and log on
• The last thing you do at night before bed is log off and turn your computer off
• You say good night to your computer
• Have you named your computer
• Have you ever fallen asleep at your computer
  
• You have more than one e-mail address
• You have more than one chat room name
• You find yourself turning your head sideways to smile :)
